Hexagon nail glitter blog

Hello everyone I hope you have all had a nice week, it’s half term where I live so I have had the week off work and relaxed – it has been bliss. Not sure I am ready to go back tomorrow.

This week I used hexagon glitter in the shade Aqua, it comes in a resealable bag which means it doesn't go everywhere when you are finished with it and means it can be reused rather than wasted. The bag is 75p - I used quite a lot and managed to drop some all over my desk and it doesn't even look like it's been touched. Be careful removing the staple so you don't rip the bag.

Step 1; Paint your nails a block colour, I painted mine white – in hind sight I should of probably painted them aqua then I would of only needed one layer of glitter.

Step 2; I used the curvy end of my cuticle pusher and placed the glitter onto a stamper.

Step 3; Apply a layer of foil glue and wait for it to dry (usually goes clear when tacky).

Step 4; When foil glue goes clear position glitter onto nail.

Step 5; If necessary repeat steps 3 and 4 if you want a fuller coverage layer.

Step 6; Using a dry brush remove any glitter around your cuticles.

Step 7; Apply a top coat.

Here is what my finished mani looked like.

As you can see I barely got any glitter on my cuticles or side walls.

I can't wait to use this glitter again, Charlies glitters are so easy to use – I am no longer scared of glitter like I was!

This glitter is perfect for any level, I promise you loose glitter isn't as scary as you might think!! Don’t forget you can get 10% off your order using NBKT10

I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday and have a fabulous week.
